Hi Heber - you mentioned some re-writes that you've done on the firmware and software side. Will these new implementations work with the old KeyMouses?

Also, congrats on the working PCBs ...

No, the new firmware is re-written from scratch. We don't have control of the previous firmware, so cross-compatibility is near impossible (which is one of the core reasons we re-wrote it all). We'll keep links for downloading the previous KeyMouse Software to ensure users can program 100 series devices. New KeyMouse Alpha & Track 300 series devices will require using KeyMouse Software V3.X, but V3.X software will not save key layouts to 100 series devices. Too much is different in the key types, key codes, etc.

Disappointing, but not surprising.

Is there an upgrade path for the 100 without full replacement? I'm sure the Bluetooth aspect of the 100 will make it fetch a good amount on eBay, but I'm kind of attached to mine :p

But at some point, I'll probably need another pair of the Track version (to replace my Alpha). I keep that pair at my "downhill office" that gets a lot more use when it snows.

When you're ready to do some new designs, I can give you a few ideas :)
