I'm a backend developer looking to revamp my setup for health reasons (incredibly painful onset of cubital tunnel syndrome, but can still be avoided) and I'm probably going to land on KeyTrack (using a mouse doesn't bother me but I always loved the idea of one device for everything so you don't split focus).
I'm having a few issues with my purchasing experience on the shop. Some texts are outdated, some products are not offered anymore but their references are still there.
For example, since I'll be mounting these to my chair, I understood that with the KeyTrack I either need the chair variant, some MB mounting sets or a combination of the two, none of which are offered on the Purchase page but all of which are mentioned in documentation.
I wanna get the mounting plates along with a KeyTrack, so how do I go about that?
Also, I'm not looking to assemble it myself but the product page says that such an option exists, but it's not there (probably removed)
All of this adds up to a feeling of an unmaintained shop and if I'm being honest, makes me a bit insecure purchasing at that pricetag since I'd like to feel the company isn't gonna disappear. I'm sure the product must be great and on your forums I saw good feedback.

@Dimitris We currently do not support the chair mounting, but after we get done with some of our other updates, we can come back to this. In the past helping customers mount on their chairs was becoming prohibitive for support, so we just put out our 3D models for all the mounting brackets (so users can 3D print themselves) and told customers they are on their own for mounting. Also, our 3D models need updating to have the cut-out we previously had to support some chairs. It's on our list to come back to this and fix the 3D model and create a better experience for chair mounting, but we're currently solving software/firmware issues.
I purchased one a week ago and it got shipped a couple days later. They're definitely stilli around and their CS has been great so far (refunded kickstarter orders when they were late, and still let me use my discount 5Y later). Maybe it's because they're in the middle of a software release right now?
That's great to hear, but what about the mounting plates for the chair etc? How does one go about getting those as well?
I've seen them respond to people on this forum about being able to ship things that weren't on the website's store, like MX switch colors that weren't in the list, so it could be worth asking them about the mounting plantes. I emailed them about support@keymouse.com about a coupon code and they got back within a day.

I respect that - I'll take care of the mounting myself. I hope there are at least screw holes at the bottom, or at least a guide of where I could add a few?

Hi Dimitris. The KeyMouse Track non-functioning models do not show this, but they do in fact have screw holes in the bottom of the devices. I have attached a picture showing the screw holes in the bottom.
